I’m Julia. A photographer with a heart for storytelling and capturing the joy of real moments.
What began as a hobby grew into a lifelong love for capturing meaningful moments. From photographing senior portraits and weddings in high school to telling global stories through a career in international exchange, I’ve always been drawn to people and their stories.
Now, as a full-time photographer, I bring that same curiosity and care to every session—whether it’s the quiet magic of new parenthood or the electric joy of a couple in love. My goal is simple: to help you feel seen, celebrated, and beautifully documented in whatever season you’re in.
THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ME
I am madly in love with my best friend, Zack and cannot wait to marry him this winter. You might find us biking through the streets of DC, or sampling ice cream at Jeni’s (our fav).
I’m originally from Washington State, and I spent four years living in California during undergrad. I'm fully convinced that the West Coast is the best coast, don't try to convince me otherwise.
I once spent an entire summer cycling across the United States to raise money for clean water projects in developing countries. It was wild, but I will forever cherish the many strangers that became friends along the way.
